A bit late for April Fool’s Day, Monday morning we woke to a raging snowstorm here in Door County! It’s beautiful, but where is Spring? Today is sunny, and the snow so white it is almost blinding and showing no signs of melting yet. The weather hasn’t slowed business though. Real estate is selling very well, and intrepid, determined buyers are willing to trudge through snow and mud in their quest to find a property to make their own Door County retreat.
This is a great time of year — waiting for the first Spring flowers to make their appearance, searching the woods for ramps (wild edible plants similar to green onions), and planning our flower gardens. I love showing prospective buyers vacant land when the Trillium are in full bloom. If you’ve not been here this time of year, make a point to visit soon.
